*DIY IDEA: did I mention how much I love and need seating benches (especially with storage)? As we have to MAKE our own benches, we wondered what is the cheapest but still functional way...maybe this is the answer :) bench out of kitchen elements. I loove the idea. No need to put any effort in making one (it would be a problem as we don't have a place where to make it,nor the tools *sad face*...and probably the only thing I would need to do is painting it,which is my favorite job) plus it has a storage and it's not expensive. PERFECT!
*TO LEARN: useful post on Apartment Therapy listing 10 Mid-Century Scandinavian designers everyone should know. They're surely worth appreciation
*BEFORE&AFTER: if you have some old open wall cabinet, a pint of paint and some colorful wrapping papers....plus 5 or 6hrs of free time...this project Tiffin Mills did is perfect for you. I feel so happy just looking at this photo, wanting it to be on my wall..because it has an open storage, it is colorful and accessorized with vintage milk glass. via Design*Sponge
