balkan breeze...on the coast of Adriatic sea

First of all,  want to wish you A Happy New Year...
if you love the New Year's Eve fever, if it makes you do or plan to do more in your life...then I wish you to feel like it's everyday A Fresh Start. I wish you the passion in your heart, diamonds in your eyes, the true happy smile and the strength to make through every  difficulty on your way
First post this year is the one I love the most...brand new Balkan Breeze interior...just in case you missed it, check out Tanja's vintage home and a graphic designer's modern apartment
This time, you're entering the home of Croatian photographer Viktor Pravdica, who's portfolio made me fall off the chair, and his Mediterranean style blog full of his own photographs is an inspiration overdose!
So, shall we enter?

name and location: Viktor and Katarina Pravdica, Croatia
square meters: 82
our style: Mix of  traditional and country style, and  Mediterranean which we always admired. Natural materials like stone and wood are our favorite, and it's something that will never go out of fashion. Most of our furniture are custom hand-made by a carpenter.

inspiration: We find inspiration on different websites and blogs, books and magazines. Items we find and love, accessories and pieces of furniture are also very inspiring. There's no lack of ideas.
favorite element: Stone wall in the central part of the house and the arched doorway dividing the kitchen and living room. The wall has been thoroughly cleaned up to the stone and covered in white lime. Above are two built-in lighting fixtures that illuminates it, and gives even more emphasis on its texture.

biggest challenge: We often find new items and furniture we'd love to see in our home, but there's just no enough space for them. We don't want to clutter up the space even if sometimes it's very difficult not to.
what friend say: friends have positive comments about our home. There are so many details catching their attention and they feel comfortable in the interior that provides warmth and coziness, as they say.
decorating advice: Be brave and experiment. Don't rush with decorating because it's a process that takes time and patience. You can easily make wrong decisions in a hurry, and usually it can't be so easily repaired
