{Balkan breeze} inspired by French style** inspirisano francuskim stilom

I could write a lot to introduce this home inspired by French romantic style, but the pictures speak louder than words. Obviously this is a corner decorated with lots of love and determination to create a space to fit. A number of lovely details found  their place in this small apartment, telling us about owner’s personality and lifestyle. I am convinced that everybody will find this atmosphere welcoming and pleasing

Očigledno je ovo kutak uređen sa puno ljubavi i odlučnosti da se kreira prostor baš po mjeri. Iako mali po kvadraturi, u njemu su našli svoje mjesto brojni detalji koji najviše govore o vlasnicima. Ubjeđena sam da ovakav ambijent svakome ostavlja utisak gostoljubivosti i ležernosti.}

My style: mix and match a bit of everything as long as I like it
Inspiration: I wanted to create home that feels comfortable, functional and beautiful. Suitable for children and dogs, socializing too… to be casual and neat. Many years ago I was smitten with picture bedrooms decorated in French style. Thrilled by the combination of fluttering, nostalgia and functionality I told myself that this is what I want. Many years and many different styles later I managed to create that feeling in our apartment.
Favourite part: perhaps the bedroom because that’s the space I can call my own ;-)
Biggest challenge: how to organise a small space for family of four; accept the TV which husband wouldn’t sacrifice, but the one turning into picture when inactive satisfies us both! I can’t live without details, but it’s important not to be gaudy. A few years ago I have completely cleared the apartment of small items and details, but soon re-entered them.
What friends say: those who enter the house said it radiates positive energy and that it reflects my spirit. Their eyes wander from one detail to another, and a good friend of mine says that every time different little thing catches her eye. Friends of my sons say it smells like candy ;-))
Advice: first acclimatize to the space, see how it’s breathing, and then furnish and decorate. And be sure to follow your dreams, they always take us the right path, no matter where.
What I’d done differently: I hope to make it in the next apartment – I wanted a white sofa but my mother and husband convince me not to buy it! Basically, I'm ready for the new space

Moj stil: miš maš svega pomalo, važno mi je da se meni sviđa
Inspiracija: željela sam dom u kojem se ugodno osjećam, funkcionalan i lijep. Pogodan za djecu i pse, druženja,ležeran i skladan. Prije mnogo godina zaljubila sam se u sliku spavaće sobe uređene u francuskom stilu. Oduševila me kombinacija lepršavosti, nostalgičnosti i funkcije: rekla sam sama sebi da je to ono što želim. Dugo godina i mnogo različitih stilova je prošlo dok taj osjećaj nisam uspjela postići u svom stanu
Omiljeni element: možda spavaća soba jer je taj prostor samo moj ;-)
Najveći izazov: u malo kvadrata organizirati život četvoročlanoj obitelji, preživjeti tv kojeg muž nije htio žrtvovati: srećom ovaj koji se pretvara u sliku kad nije u funkciji zadovoljava oboje! Ne mogu bez detalja, ali mi je važno da ne budu prenapadni. Čak sam prije par godina potpuno pročistila stan od sitnica, ali ih ubrzo ponovno unijela.
Šta kažu prijatelji: svi koji uđu u stan kažu da zrači pozitivnom energijom i da odražava moj duh. Oči lutaju od detalja do detalja, a prijateljica kaže da joj svaki put oko zapne za neku drugu sitnicu. Prijatelji mojih sinova kažu da miriše po bombonima ;-))
Savjet: prvo se saživjeti s prostorom, vidjeti kako diše, pa onda uređivati. I svakako slijediti svoje snove, uvijek nas odvedu na pravi put, nije važno gdje.
Što bih napravila drugačije: nadam se da ću to i napraviti u sljedećem stanu, htjela sam bijelu sofu ali su me mama i muž odgovorili od toga! Uglavnom, spremna sam za novi prostor!
