Make a statement in your hallway/entryway with a stencil or photo projector. Birch tree forest is my favourite motif, with installed hooks to simulate branches. Simple wooden bench with colourful cushions is a stylish necessity, providing much needed functionality and storage. ** Uz pomoć šablona ili projektora, na bijelom zidu uz dodatak jedne boje po izboru, oslikati brezovu šumu. Postaviti pojedinačne čiviluke kao simulaciju grana koje štrče, a neizostavan dodatak je i jednostavna drvena klupica sa mekim jastucima. Kakvo osvježenje za uzan hodnik ili predsoblje bez prirodnog svijetla.

 This stylish small apartment in Berlin has only 54 square meters. The most interesting part of it is the kitchen with sitting area. The great use of space, chalkboard wall, open shelves, big window, bench with soft cozy cushions and THREE pendants makes this space my favourite.
The space beneath the bench is used for storage. There's an easy access to everything, and I love the casual feel of this apartment with mismatched furniture and decor. Absolutely cozy!
{Ovaj mali stan u Berlinu ima samo 54 kvadratna metra. Već dugo ove slike imam u svom inspiracionom folderu, ali svaki put kada na njih naiđem, oduzmu mi dah. Najzanimljiviji dio je svakako kuhinja sa svojim udobnim kutkom za sjedanje, a oduševljava me svaki djelić - odlično iskorišćen prostor, zid kao tabla, otovrene police, veliki prozor, klupa sa mekanim jastucima, kao i tri visilice. Omiljeno! Prostor ispod klupe nije ostao neiskorišćen, ali sve u ovom stanu ima lak pristup. Pleni me ovaj ležeran ambijent uređen sa mnogo raznolikog namještaja i dekora, tako je udoban i prijatan.}

Benches are wonderful, multifunctional seating and storage solutions for every room. I'm considering to put a few in my small apartment. I would need one corner bench in the kitchen and one in the balcony, of course with the storage.
They used to be ugly, although functional...and let me say...there are some ugly ones even now. But hey, thanks to many talented and creative people around the world, benches found their spot in the design world. here are some stylish examples
