we can dream in colour
Hello friends and readers, it’s been a while since I last posted something. There’s no lack of ideas and things to say, there is lack of time. Or maybe energy. That’s why I highly appreciate these short moments when I can share something here on the blog.
Today I am very happy to show you one amazing colourful home.

colourful accents on black and white
Here I am with another amazing home tour belonging to an architect and artist Anne Boysen Lorenzen. She has turned this house into a creative experimental station with design and art in bright colours on black and white background. I like the mid century modern flair and artistic approach to interior design.

home tour
So many interesting things around this home, there’s a lot going on wherever you look creating the livable and representative family space. White background seems to be perfect for knick-knacks. via Ikea fmaily live

true Spanish spirit
Today I bring you one outstanding home tour, full of hearth and personality. The owner is very talented and creative, making home decorating items out of fabric yarn. I guess my favourites are the white triangle bean bag and colourful storage baskets. Full house tour and an interview is on Bla*d but I found it via Styllia

{perfect home No. 34} Nordic maxi coloured
This lovely house features a different kind (my kind) of Nordic décor. It has a white background but it was only used to make the rest of the elements stand out. The huge blank canvas was filled with lots of colourful and vibrant details. Many different colors were combined but they were beautifully balanced. It’s interesting how each room or space has its own palette of colors. The kitchen is mostly white with black and ocher. Then the space continues into the living room where an entire wall was painted ochre. It was combined with turquoise and blue accents and a brown sofa and the contrast is quite beautiful. Adding purple to the palette starts in entryway and continues to the upstairs, where you climb on bright red stairs. Upstairs the palette is calmer, perfect for rest area. Exterior of the house is unspeakably lovely

colourful rented apartment for family
Family living and bright colours are the main focus in this rental apartment. The strong colour palette kicks you right as you enter the apartment. Green, yellow, pink and blue may seem like an overwhelming colour choice for many, but the owner have combined the colors, so it all still works quite stylish. Whole space feels energized, youthful and happy. I dig the entrance, dining corner in the kitchen and small bedroom in red. If you want your space to be modern and affordable, this is the style you should be going for.

Spotted this home tour ages ago (who didn’t)…and it still amazes me…don’t know what exactly – the simplicity I guess, joyful color palette and plenty of storage space

{home tour} narrow apartment with amazing solutions
size: 59m2 (640sf)
Another example of well organized apartment full of storage space without feeling cramped. Everything is special about this home, especially the fact there lives the family of four. My thought at first glance on the footage (640sf) was “so what? I know dozens of dozens families living in apartments that big or smaller!” … but the odd, unusual and unpractical layout makes it even more challenging and special. Noroof architects are creators of amazing solution for the space, inspired by the boys wish to be like a pirate ship. They sure did a fantastic job with hidden compartments all over the space and with flexible furniture. take a good look

{small space} tiny studio in Paris
size: 28m2 (300sf)
“No need to live in a palace to feel like home” that’s the first sentence in Marie Claire Maison article about tiny Parisian studio of Canadian brand designer for men swimwear. Aurélien Lespinas was an architect working on this project. The main (and only) room seamlessly combines the living area, the kitchen and bedroom area. Besides, it’s unbelievable how much storage can fit in such small space, without even noticing it.

artistic home
Some photos of this home you’ve surely seen on the web, and you’re probably amazed by the beauty of the every inch of it. Some people have a talent to turn everything ordinary into extraordinary, beautiful, artistic and breathtaking. The mix of clean lines and cluttered corners is in perfect balance. Everyday objects are perceived like art itself, and the result is home easy to live in and interesting to look at.

extreme home makeover… ** extremno preuređenje
One of the very few shows I like to watch on TV is the reality show similar to Extreme Home Makeover. It’s Serbian show “Radna akcija” with main aim to help people and families in need for functional, proper home. Those people usually live in extremely bad conditions, in cold homes, with mold or broken walls and ceilings, old furniture in bad shape, sometimes even without water or bathroom. My husband always asks me why I’m smiling while watching the show. How not to smile, when I’m happy to see someone’s been helped to start over, and home is the biggest thing in that process.
Now, I want to feature here one of many makeovers, because I like it the most, the team was creative and created a youthful home for young girl, who lost her mother not so long ago. The apartment has 43m2 (462sqft) and the girl who lives there is amazing, brave, smart and adorable. Let’s see the makeover…

What a beauty! I’m speechless, amazed by the perfect balance of color, light, shapes and textures. I wish to see the rest of this three bedroom apartment, wow

another scandinavian tour? …
I don’t mind, as long as there are some iconic or classic pieces like Eames rocking chair, or caramel leather sofa. If you add to it a charming nursery corner or dining area, some geometric patterns and whimsical prints – I want to move right in.

my small space…
Well, maybe this is one of the hardest things for me to do (so be kind), but somehow I wanted to blog about my humble 48m2 apartment I’m sharing with husband and two little boys (4 and 1). It’s far from perfect, and I’m always trying to improve it (without ANY money for it), so it mostly ends with disappointment. So many things have to be done, and time flies with small kids. My husband is tired of my ideas or constant rearranging, but it doesn’t stop me. As long as I can do it by myself. If you’re interested – check out my home… Photos are old couple of months, some things are a bit changed, now I’m waiting for sunny weather again to photograph.
